Many go by one name, few can pull it off....well at least not without being a dick.

Dick Sage -
keyboardist for  several RI bands and Big Rhythm Wine

Big Rhythm Wine keyboardist Sage made his first CFZ appearance on June 5, 2006. He spent quite a few Tuesdays in 2007 manning the keys and filled in many times in 2008.

Katie Whelan -
keyboardist of The Stop

Katie did many memorable gigs with us in 2008 both on the beach and at Rum Runners.

Nick Muce -
Solo Artist Connecticut

Nick was a co-founder of CFZ. He was with us at our inception in January of 1999 until September of 1999. Nick also co-wrote "Free" on the CD Simmer Down. Nick still occasionally sits in with CFZ when he can.
Nick played a whole set with us in 2007 at The Wheelhouse Tavern in Narragansett RI.

Dave Barrett -
member of Jukebox Zero with Mike

Dave was our drummer from Nov 2004 until Sept 2008.

Adam Douglass -
guitarist for Big Rhythm Wine

Big Rhythm Wine guitarist Adam sat in with us in all 4 Maine festivals in 2008. Great time and many more to come.

Daryl Sabine -
Currently a member of Jukebox Zero

Daryl joined us in October of 1999 and stayed until Sept of 2001. Daryl also did fill in gigs throughout the summer of 2003. He 
also recorded on the Simmer Down CD. Daryl and Mike were both members of popular Cape band Borrowed Time for many years and 2 original CD's. He is by far our most asked about past member. He also plays with Mike in Jukebox Zero.

Colin Cunningham -
Drummer and percussionist

Colin was the 5th Zero in the summer of 2007. Filling in for Dave when needed or just wailing away on congas on Tuesdays at the Beach. He is now our permanent drummer.

Mike Barrett -
Sax player from FL and also David's brother.

Mike sat in with us on the beach July 24. 2006 and also at Daves party July 23rd.

Tom Barrett -
Jazz keyboardist from FL and also David's father.

Tom sat in with us on the beach July 24. 2006.

 

Jared Greenleaf -
summerin' on the cape, winterin' at school in Vermont

J.R. sat in with CFZ in the summer of 2006 at various shows.

Tanya Roza -
vocalist - wife of Big Rhythm Wine drummer Jason

Tanya lent her vocals to our recording of "A Little Less Conversation" which is  our contribution to the Cape Cod Covers Vol 1 "The King" CD. 

 


 

Dale Mandigo
Currently not lugging equipment and happy about it

Dale was our Soundman/Lightguy from Jan 1999 to Feb of 2003.
Dale was like the 5th Beatle, except we weren't the Beatle's. Dale also co-starred in our online Cartoon series "where the hell is Dale".
Pete Waters (H2O's) -
Currently Slaving over a hot stove at The Brewster inn and Drumming for Big Rhythm Wine,

Pete Joined us in Nov of 1999 and played all the way through till Sept 2001. Pete
also recorded on the Simmer Down CD. He also made a Blue Water Beach appearance filling in for DB in Aug of 2006.
Tim Taylor -
Currently  playing? Unknown,

Tim played drums, guitar and percussion
  with us from Jan 1999 to Sept 2001. Tim also recorded on the Simmer Down CD. He was the Utility man in CFZ playing both guitar and congas as a member of the "Drive-By Drummers". Timmy T. is the 2nd most asked about ex-cfz'er.

Steve Restaino -
guitarist for Gonzo Morelli

Steve played bass for us from March 2004 until  Nov 2004.

 

Rick Coughlin -
Currently  playing? Unknown, Drummin some where's I'm sure

Rick was with us from Jan 1999 to October of 1999.

Eric Short -
Currently  space pussy - 57 Heavy - any other band that will have him

Eric played with us from Oct 2001 to April 2003. He left rather unceremoniously but we are glad to have reconnected and enjoyed his trombone playing in June of 2006 at The roo Bar. Eric also was a guest trombone and sax  player on CFZ's contribution to The Cape Cod Covers Vol. 1 The King CD

 
John Dupont -

Cousin Dupe filled in on Bass at The Mill Hill Club on Feb 15th of 2003.  And also At The HO in Sept 2003.

Jeff Martinson -
Currently  
playing with Shakedown

Jeff sat in numerous times in 2005 and a couple in 2006. Jeff brings solid chops and musical knowledge and always slides into the CFZ thing seamlessly.

 

Matt Pawloski -
Currently  with Stomp 86

Matt played with us from Aug of 2003 to Sept 2004. He also sat in with us in the summer of 2006 at Cappy's.

 

 
Steve Rose -
Currently Bassist for  Torn to Shreds, Jukebox Zero

Steve rocked with us at the Captains Club in Oct 2003 and also July 2, 2007 at Willowbend CC in Mashpee. He  also now plays with Mike  in Jukebox Zero.

 

Scott Beckwith -
Currently :Owner of  Birdsong guitars Wimberley Texas

Scott was co-writer and vocalist on the song "Your Mother's A Whore" on the CD Simmer Down.

Kevin Brown -
Currently playing?  Unknown

Kevin played Bass from Oct 2001 to Oct 2002. With a very brief return in Aug and Sept of 2003.

Ray Tuholski


Ray filled in for us at the end of 2004 for a few gigs. As well as NYE 2004. And Pokeys bday in 2008.  He also is our very reliable sound man.

Tim comes and wails the harmonica with us on occasion.

Chuck filled in on keys at Freedom Fest in Maine in 2008.

Mark McCarthy -
Currently with a Boston band

Mark played one set with CFZ at The Woodshed one summer (2000?) and celebrated his birthday every Tuesday night with CFZ for years. I don't have a picture.
